Crown Aluminium was formed in 1987 by Roger and Wendy Phillips and dedicated their business to manufacturing commercial aluminium windows for other fabricators and installers. What initially was a facility, which helped other installers manufacture products when times were busy, has now turned into a dedicated fabrication facility where many high value projects are made to exacting standards.

Roger’s background has always been in engineering and he has put this knowledge to very good use in the engineering and manufacture of fenestration systems. The factory is laid out to assist product flow and reduced handling time.

Heading up the product cycle are two twin headed automatic compound saws and in order to keep up the through flow of machined profiles no less than three fully automated CNC machine centres produce accurately machined parts for assembly. Products are often sent out unglazed, but factory glazing is also offered which ensures the simplest of installation on site.

Crown also use the most up to date computer technology in order to work closely with their customers. New software now allows customers to design fenestration products which can be passed directly through Crown to a dedicated CNC machine for production thereby eliminating any transcription problems.
